I have bought mostly all of my lacrosse equipment off ebay, and always got good deals. I'm sure you can probably find UnderArmor gloves for around 10 dollars.

"the best" gloves are open to interpertation. I've heard guys talk about cutters like they were the best. But NFL guys wear reebok (because of contracts) so they are probably decent.

Stick with me here... At your age I wouldn't buy gloves. You need to learn to catch the ball without them. Its alot like taking every supp you can and only eating one meal a day. In the long run its going to hurt you. If you use just your hands and get great at catching without gloves by the time you're a junior or senior in HS you'll be lights out with the gloves on.

Gloves are like steroids for recievers. You still have to get open, but if you just throw your hands up there the ball will stick. So I would work without them until you are a junior or senior in HS.
