being honest.. Your even higher then 20% going by just the pictures..  Only way to really know is to get it tested though.

To be real if you want to see abs your going to have to cut a good 50lbs maybe 60lbs off the frame..

I know you hate it...but I would start incorporating some cardio into your routine, and not just for this 2 week cut...

Cardio all the way.  You will start to love cardio like weight training.

Oh well losing 25 - 30lbs should be efficient then.

I'm not sure, the battery in my scale is dead.   I'm probably like 210 or more.

If I lost like 10 - 15 lbs. I'd look pretty jacked.  No, pics don't ever do me justice, nor do videos either.

Ya, I think that after about 6 months of lots of pizza, taco bell, cheesesteaks, and beer I got some good old guttage going on.  That's why my New Year's resolution (I know, why wait till new years???) was to start eating clean.

I've learned to do cardio but i don't know how you can ever love it.  I'm taking a break from cardio over the next 3 months to put on some mass, maybe some short simple fast pace cardio just to keep my system up to par every once in a while.  It feels really good to not be doing cardio right now.  Without it i always end up a little chubby.  Just make sure after your 2 weeks are up you aren't overtraining too much.

I just got your joke Bulking, haha!!

Ya, I might start doing a bit of cardio.  I dunno though.  I think I can do it all by diet, but the fact that I sit at a desk all day makes me kinda want to get my fat a** up and do some cardio.

might be a good idea if you are at a desk all day.  Do you play sports on occasion? that tends to be an alright fat burner without the boredom and the feeling of drudgery. Or if you have a really vivid imagination you can go crazy while on a treadmill.

10-15 pounds will help, but your going to need to drop a lot more to get that jacked look.

Thats a horrible diet bro, lol. Plus alcohol slows the fat burning process...its a helpful reason on why I seldom drink.

But its good to hear your changing things up.

That's not ALL that I eat, but it's stuff that I certainly don't avoid.

I'm cutting back on drinking too.  Not because of looks, but because I'm a crazy raging drunk, and I need to calm down.

If you hate doing cardio and really want to optimize fat burning, start doing a Tabata Routine first thing in the morning... It's fast, and does the job..

I never understood that, how does tabata differ from HIIT?

Not a huge difference... A typical Tabata Routine would be, 8 sets of a speciffic exercise such as body weight squats.  for 20 seconds you would do as many  body squats as possible, then rest 10 seconds.. rinse and repeat 7 more times = 1 set

that's about where youwould want to start... you can work up to 3-4 different exercises but if done correctly, it will kick your A$$...

As Jane mentioned, you can use weight but to start I would stick body weight such as squats lunges and simply running on a treadmill...

I will look into Tabata.  Thanks for that suggestion.

Jane, don't talk s*** about Taco Bell or I will have to hurt you.  I love T.B. and I really miss it.

I'm in the same boat as you about the strength thing.  Although I'm really not that into the "perfect physique" thing, and mainly just in it for strenght, I just can't seem to allow myself to get too fat.

I'm looking forward to getting back down to the 220's but dreading the loss in strength I know I'm going to have.. :(

Tell me about it...  I was on a long cut trying to get lean (I'm down to 163 from a peak of about 198), and now I can barely deadlift 310 pounds once. I was doing 350 for reps and the end of that last bulk.

Worst part is, I'm still not all that lean (can't see abs, anyway).

Taco Bell = Amazingness (Yes, that is a word)

Like someone said, I'd try to find something that you enjoy for cardio. If you're competitive something like raquetball (sp?) is great.

And I've said this before, but where can I find a picture of ole' smound?

How 'bout we all have a strength loss pity party, as I am also in the same boat... my treadmill is coming tonight or tomorrow. But i do cardio all the time anyway, but I will hit the HIIT, as that always does the trick for me.

differance between HIIT and Tabata... HIIT makes you see God, Tabatta, makes you knock him out as soon as you see him.

Good luck Bri
