I'm not sure how big of a problem this is but i usually try to get 8 hours of sleep a night which usually ends up being closer to 7.5 the problem is i'm a pretty light sleep so sometimes random crap wakes me up but more importantly is i end up having to go to the bathroom 1-2 times a night. this interrupts how "deeply" i can sleep and takes away from the total time i get to sleep any suggestions? i tried not drinking much in my last meal. i only had a few sips of water but i still woke up.

I really wouldnt worry about this, in fact most experts have suggested 7 hours of sleep is healthier than 8 so youre actually best off not doing a full 8 hours lol. I wake up halfway through the night needing a piss too, but i just cant be bothered and go to sleep again and wait until the morning LOL.

I only sleep like 5 hours a night, and with the heavy training I've been doing, it's really been affecting me lately. I am definately not recovering good enough. It's 2 days since I've lifted, and my whole body still feels like I just got out of the gym. I have to start getting to bed earlier. I'd rather pee the bed then get up.

This is a big problem for me too.. So much to do, and so little time. I usually get about 5-6 hours of sleep, with most of it being 5 & some times less. My body tends to take long to recoup. I should really start going to sleep earlier.

Nah, I have no problems sleeping at all. I just have the problem that there's not enough hours in a day to fit 8 hours of sleep into, lol.

Yeah I have school, and then work 6pm-2am during the week, and 7pm-3am on the weekends...so my body has felt pretty crappy this last month or so, I'm just now starting to get adjusted. But school is almost out, I GRADUATE TOMORROW W00T!, so I'll be able to sleep in after that, get a couple extra hours. *Side note: I can't remember the details, but my psych teacher told us that guys usually wake up in the middle of their deepest sleep (that's why we wake up a little excited), and that affects how much info we retain of what we have learned. Anyways, long story short, some school is Cali started having school an hour later than normal as an experiment and over the next year almost every guy in the school raised his grade a full letter grade. I know there are a lot of missing variables, but I thought it was interesting.

I am trying here to prevent anyone saying the really foolish thing that people often say about Him: 'I'm ready to accept Jesus as a great moral teacher, but I don't accept His claim to be God.' That is the one thing we must not say. A man who was merely a man and said the sort of things Jesus said would not be a great moral teacher. He would either be a lunatic -- on the level with the man who says he is a poached egg -- or else he would be the Devil of Hell. You must make your choice. Either this man was, and is, the Son of God: or else a madman or something worse. You can shut Him up for a fool, you can spit at Him and kill Him as a demon; or you can fall at His feet and call Him Lord and God. But let us not come with any patronizing nonsense about His being a great human teacher. He has not left that open to us. He did not intend to.

Man, you guys are a bunch of tools. Most mammals are biphasic sleepers. That is, sleeping twice in one 24 hour period, instead of sleeping once in a 24 hour period. I go to bed at 12:00 am, usually. I wake up at 6:00 am, usually. From 4-6 after I get home from work and all that, I'll take a two hour nap. I'm never tired in the morning, I'm always horny, and I'm always recovered. Try it. It takes a little getting used to, but give it a shot.

I'm like Austin Powers when he wakes up from being frozen and pisses for like five minutes stops for a few seconds and keeps going.

I get up to piss but I don't take any notice of it. I wake up, dead of night, like a zombie, go toilet, piss without thought, wash hands, jump back to bed, I'm out like a light for another few hours.

stop drinking any fluid 2 hours prior to going to sleep also, if you want to be able to fall asleep faster, and maybe get a "deeper" sleep... try taking 1 or 2 mg of MELATONIN. melatonin is one of the things the brain releases when there is a lack of sunlight (darkness) and it's responsible for making you sleepy. makes sense why everyone seems to get more tired and want to sleep more during the winter right?
