thanks first off yes i have d-bol'd awhile ago when i fist started and it was a mistake....water weight bloating it was bad strength did not increase till after i got off i mean it increased ok but for some reason when i got off it strength blew up. i have always focused on deadlifts and leg presses when i was in highschool...that and i used to sholder shrug geo metros for reps... i have some video of it...as far as grip strength if i start focusing on that i have no worries on increasing a decent amount...that and im a greek power smoker haha...which is sad ive read that guys have incresed their bench in two months by quiting so ill keep you guys posted when i do quit...mikeb listen i can trust the rack its my knees i dont trust i dont want to mess it up even more...so im waiting to go heavy till my doctor says i can go heavier. i tired posting pics up on the rate my physique but i coud not get them up...so if you guys could help me put them up, cuz i cant

I used dianabol as a teenager too.. although barely any then i studied up on it and threw it away.  Your probably only used so much as to spike your test levels and not totally shut off the natural test production as some juicers do when they get off a large cycle of steroids.. Still not a good ideah But it may have had a slight affect on your strength although not much.   Most of your strength was probably just due to the fact that you started training and stuck too it.

I feel the same as you.. at first i wasnt going to run another cycle at all but im actually thinking about taking another cycle when i reach 220lbs then ill bulk with the cycle to 240 and thats my goal weight ill probably lose 5 and be a lean 235 or so...   Im not nearly as tall as you so i dont need to weigh over 235 - 240 i dont want to be that big my frame is small.

o and 40mg per day 4 weeks is actually a standard dose of dianabol.  Although your sources were probably crap because you did refer to it as D-bol and not the actual drug name.

twisted you have to realise that some people have large bone structures, an its also not a measurement of body fat, its a measurement of waist size, which also includes lower back an abdominals

my waist measures 38-39in right now an im @ 12% - this is not even close to obese

I was really impressed with that frying pan bending video you made... But 30min ago u just grabbed one of my expensive frying pans and bent it.. then i grabbed a cheapy and bent it very easly.

The apple crush thing though! now that really was amazing I dont think I can do that.. Then again I havent tried yet

i found rolling up frying pans really easy to be honest, its just something that looks cool as far im concerned - obviously thicker pans are harder but ive never failed one

crushing an apple is definately much MUCH harder, i only know of john brookfield and myself to have clearly done it on video - it is very easy to split it digging your finger tips in, but without finger tips requires world class finger strength

as for waist size to bf pct....im a 34 and im at 16 like i said i know my buddy he is 20 pct and he is a 30 so you see its not really that big of a deal....then i have a buddy he is 11 pct at 250 lbs and wears a 36 its all about muscle structure... push muscle....no push some fat....yeah fat is easier to push so fitting a tight fit when i was fat was easier then now that i ahve more muscle down there

Well twisted link, when I worked out in a gym I could leg press 845 for 6 reps. I could only speculate wether I could lift more or less in that lift now.  The lifts in my signature are pretty up to date. Part of it is having a big build.. I wear size 13 shoes and one time I compared my hand size to a friend that was 6'3'', except for one finger my hand was just as big.
But yeah I do need to cut down on then lipid tissue, which I'm working on by stepping up my cardio and cutting my diet down.  Heres a picture of myself that I used in my myspace artist page.

When you make a post click "embed picture in post" the screen will kind of blink, like its refreshing. click the link that says "Click here to upload" from there you more or less have to just find the picture on your computer, as long as the picture doesn't take up too much space,(bigger pictures usually= more space)
it should show when you put up your post. If you get some kind error message that it takes up too much space you may have to resize it, or if applicaple, use a different type of graphic file.

nice lifts - how long have you been training? have you taken steroids?

the limb length does make a difference dude, this is just basic physics, you dont have the leverage a short arm guy does on pressing for instance, an with basically all movements you have to go further to complete a rep - this is why generally the top powerlifters are short

the lifts i use are good for strongman, i consider them all to be important lifts - definately agree that my pressing is weak, im working very hard to get stronger overhead

a lot of the lifts im just starting out on, push press ive done only a couple of times, pull ups the same, power cleans ive done once etc hopefully by next year i can be a lot stronger on them, already improved pull ups a good bit, BW 5 x 5 yesterday

hopefully before next year comes ill have power clean + power jerk 300lbs, close grip press 300lbs, an at least get 15 reps on pull ups

yess the deadlift does need improving but that takes time because your back is sensative and is bery prone to injury..dont push it Darn tough.. Straight leg deadlifts help a lott because they require Hams and only lower back.. do those with LITE WEIGHT..because they will build up those muscles then when u do a Deadlift and you add in calven n quads its easier on ur self.. u need ot incorporate Legpresses n **** as well

I haven't maxed out in a while.  These numbers are pretty close though.  I'm 5'6" 193lbs with about 8% bf.  I'm a bodybuilder, not powerlifter.  No gear.

Deadlift - 442lbs --- 565lbs X 1
full squat - 310lbs --- 405 X 8
dumbbell row - 142lbs x 17 X --- 125 X 25
hammer strength power shrug - 320lbs x 17 --- (no hammer strength) --- 495 X 8
standing calf raise - 507lbs x 17 --- don't know
standing strict press - 150lbs --- 185 X 6
push press - 200lbs --- Don't know
power curl - 191lbs x 4 --- Don't know power curl; dumbell curl 80s X 6
close grip bench press - 177lbs x 6 --- 225 X 10
rope crunch - 270lbs x 13 --- don't know
dumbbell side bend - 142lbs x 10 --- don't know
pull ups - bodyweight x 4 --- haven't done body weight in a while --- do them with weight belt (45 lbs plate attached) 8-10 reps.  Last time I did just body weight I got 27.

Um, explain how height doesnt make a difference when doing pushing exercises? If my arms are 6" longer than yours than means I need to go down an extra 6" to complete an rep. Just because someone is taller doesnt mean they should be strong. It is much easier for a short person to bulk up and than a tall person, especially a younger person.  It obviously makes it harder and the same can be said for squats.

Baseball, I'm in your boat on this one.  I know I've got an advantage b/c I'm short.  I don't have nearly as far to push/pull the weight.  Taller people have a much larger range of motion.

When I gain five pounds, it looks like more than if someone 6'5" gains it (I'm 5'6").  Younger, tall or short will have the potential to gain more muscle because of hormone levels.

Tall people can get stronger and craploads heavier-with enough training.

The taller you are the more you have to lift the weight to perform a whole rep.
However due to your bones being thicker, denser and stronger due to that height, and more muscle being able to be packed on, you can get extremely strong and big being taller.

I agee taller people can get just as strong and have potential to be big, it is just more difficult in comparison. I weigh nearly 250lbs and must take in almost 5000 calories a day to maintain my weight and I am pretty thin. Its hard to eat 5000+ clean calories a day to gain.

I dont think tall people have bigger bones, I think bulky people have larger bones and height is irrelevant. I remember somebody talking about having a 9 1/2" wrist and being like 5'7". My wrist is only like 7 1/2".

i know your short but these are still impressive numbers regardless, especially being without using roids - how long have you been training? an 27 pull ups is awesome, have you tried one arms?

as far as bone structure goes, personally i have big hands, feet, rib cage, hips, an skull, but wrist is only 7in something - i was very weak to start of with

up 6lb since i started this thread, 245lbs now thanks to peanut butter jelly sandwiches haha

Yeah, I've done one arms.  I don't like them as much as loading the weight up on them.  It's probably just because I havn't done them much but they just feel unsteady.

<----That's me!! I've been training for right about 4 1/2 years now.

Hey, I hit a new personal record!!!  I went up to 1350+/- (I don't know what the rack weighed) on leg press.  I got it for six.  I had someone sitting up on top of the rack.  After I got six, he jumped down and I got three more!!

barbell, I can't wait to get home to get a video and post it up here.

kong, I'm stuck at my weight again (193lbs).  I'll get stuck for a bit and then jump up.  It seems like no matter what I eat, I'm spinning my wheels...
