I used to dread sprints, but they've grown on me. They're brutal, but it's quick cardio, and I feel like my lung capacity has increased a lot. I can't do them without being on glucosamine though, cos otherwise they destroy my knees and ankles.

I do alot of sprints, although during football season, other than some at the end of practice I don't do much..but for fat loss, I like HIIT alot better, if I didn't play football I would probably do it alot more.

i hate steady state cardio more then anything in the world so i do a lot of sprinting for HIIT. walk most of the track then sprint the home 100 meters i also do a lot of HIIT jumprope and barbell complexes. i would rather do anything then flat out run at a steady pace around a track

i did tabata sprints for a short while and for those four minutes i would have welcomed a lightning strike in that field.

Yeah I prefer sprinting to steady cardio. Tabata sprints...ugh I dont even want to think about that. I remember how much squats/bench/rows sucked.

I hate, hate, hate steady-state cardio.... I go on our indoor track, and do a 10 sec hard-ass sprint then bring it down to a brisk walk for 2/3 of the track. I love it!! Plus the metabolic afterburn cannot be beat. That sold me. So, to suppliment my regular cardio classes I teach, I do that for no specific amount of time, but by how many sets of sprint drills I do. Usually 15 min or less. Yeah baby....they're good for you...
I will never be done learning.... ACSM cert. Personal Trainer Long term goal: Maintain 13% Currently: 9.5%
