Im having some trouble to get this area to grow and would really appreciate any help .

lol dont create a new thread try what we suggested in the other thread, you can't shape the muscle but you can make it appear a different shape depening on where you build the most mass

yeah I read the other thread...lol.

Take those suggestions and give it some time. Really focus on squeezing and stretching the muscle in the range of motion.

For example I think it was soccer who suggested incline flys. At the bottom really try to get a good stretch and up at the top squeeze the chest.

If its a whole one muscle and cant be shaped then why doesnt it grow in the middle as much as it is in the sorrounding places im really desperate i sometimes have the feelings that its my genetics that are holding me back from looking good in the chest :(
but iv noticed plenty of other people with the same problem in my gym aswell.
i'll just try the cable crossovers hopefuly they work even tho i doubt .

And thats what i want i need to stimulate it and feel it sore after my chest workouts just like other chest portions .
Anyhow thanks for all the suggestions i'll just do a hell alot of cable crossovers and see what happens after 3 weeks of doing so .

From his post it seems that by mid part of the chest he means "the inner chest".

Muscle contraction pulls the insertion to the origin, so you can't stimulate "the middle upper part" of the chest more.

Yea i just noticed that even some compititors still dont have that area protruding that much.
I just did my chest workouts today with loads of pushups and cable crossovers included to the workouts hoping to get that area to get stressed but no use just a little bit of teasing and thats it i cant seem to get it stimulated by any workout .
Anyways thank u guys for all the informations.

I used to have a very weak looking "upper-middle" chest and it bothered me a lot. It looked like had not upper chest at all. I found a video online (cant remember where) that showed an alternate way to perform the incline press. It helped my chest development a bunch and i now have a very well developed chest: upper. middle, the works.
 
The concept was this:
 
When doing the incline press, at the bottom of the movement get a good stretch. Hold this stretch at the bottom for a count of three. The hovering of the weighted bar during the stretch adds an almost isometric aspect to the lift and greatly increases the intensity and amount of recruited muscle fibers in that region of the chest. At the end of the three count push up the bar as normal. It is a very small tweak to the original movement, but like i said worked wonders for the asthetic appeal of my chest.
 
Give this a shot. If it works for you like it did me you should see results almost immediately.
