your program doesnt really give you enough recovery time between sessions, as imo one day of rest a week isnt really optimal, an upper body and lower body split is as it says, a split whereby you work your upper body one session, so that may include bench, pull ups, etc ans lower body would include squats, sldl's, calf raises etc.

try the split but do 3 on 1 off. your body will benefit from the rest. if it doesn't work for you then try something else. that's a really standard split that a lot of people do so just go do it.

and a full body split usually consists of primarily, if not solely compound movements. you don't necessarily have to focus on a particular body part to put size onto it. as a reference, most of the gains on my arms came when i was doing HST last year with absolutely no direct arm work - the only arm work i got was from pull ups and bent over rows. so just try everything and see what works best.

no, if you're doing a split like that then take at least a day of rest between each workout. if you're doing a 3 day split though then do 3 on 1 off.
1. legs/shoulders
2. back/bi
3. chest/tri

best advice anybody can give you is don't think of it as a science. nothing is exact until you reach your limits, but you have a long way to go until then. when you reach that point you will understand your body a hell of a lot better than you do now... if you do things right. just go to the gym, have a plan - whatever it may be - and just ****ing train. 3 words people need to hear a lot more often.

exactly. i guess you would need a semi-flexible schedule in order to do it since you have no true designated day to work out, but that shouldn't be too big of a deal. and like i said, keep your priority on the big lifts, even with a 3-day split. it's perfectly fine to incorporate isolated lifts, but putting a priority on them will hinder your results.
