antibiotics - Friday, March 30, 2007 10:57 AM ( #1 )
i figured your the most qualified person round here dan, anyway i was on trib for a while, and it caused really bad skin, so i decided to come off them, and take a 2 weeks course of antibiotics the 500 mg strength ones to clear my skin up ( 2 a day), anyway i finished them a week ago, but ever since i started started them my strength in all lifts has stopped, and in some cases gone down. To the point, do antibiotics have any test reduction effects, snd if not do you no of any effects with taking antibiotics whilst bodybuilding.
thanks.

You need to start with some pro-biotics.

The easy way to get them is to get some Organic, full-culture yogurt 2x a day.

The problem here is that the Antibiotics (Anti = against / bio = life...) kill all the bacteria, including the beneficial ones that you need to make the food you eat available for strength and muscle, etc.

So what is happening is basically, you are not getting the benefit of the foods you are eating.

I would also recommend you do things to boost your immune system.  Antioxidants, Echinaecia & Goldenseal if you are not allergic...a variety of many colors of fresh organic fruits and veggies...

Not completely.  But it is a good measure to get you going in the right direction.
