Shotgun is before. Halo is after. Not alot of people have the cash or trust to try Halo here so I couldn't tell ya. Use the search button a few people have asked about it already and I can't remember what some of the smarter guys here said about it.

I was also wondering about the effects. I do know however it taste like butt. By far one of the worst tasting supplement I have ever taken. Save your money and do this
Buy some waximaize, bcaa and some creatine mono.
Take 1-2 scoops of waximaize
10-15 grams of BCAA
5 grams creatine
mix and consume IMMEDIATELY after last rep.
20 min later take your protein.
You will get a far better product at half the price
