Hey bro to be honest, I'd rather that you do push ups rather than you use the money to buy 2 10 to 20 pound dumbells for chest training.. the dumbells can be used for other exercises mate. Sure if you are just starting out, the 20 pound press will do. but not for long, since you say that you are a carpenter and i assume you've increased a heluva lotta strength in ya,buddy. Push-ups have mor resistance in them since you are using your body weight. Hmmm, I think, in my opinion, that you just save up a bit and just enroll in a not so expensive gym membership. So you could get the full experience and workout, buddy. Did this help you out buddy? :)
