I'm starting my life at the age of 18 becomeing a Carpenter. and well who doesnt know that as a Carpenter i do need muscle. Since ive started ive gained around 20-30 lbs. but i wouldnt say its all muscle cuz i use to be extremly skinny. im 5-11 almost 6 feet high and im 160 lbs. i use to be 125... so you get the picture? i can put one up if you want to xD now ive gotten my self a bit a fat on me and a little 6pack and well my bicepts have like doubled. but still no pecks! I'm looking for pecks. so i ahve to start trainning I have 2 10 lbs dumbells(nothing much got them for my b day) im willing to spend cash in wiehgts but not a huge sum. i dont wana have huge pekcs i jsut want them to show instead of being perfectly flat like a road. anyone can tell me what i could do? get 20lbs? or jsut stick with the 10s. and what should i do with them? i know i can start doing push ups but what else? thanks alot for thos of you wholl answer me Iohan

Hey bro to be honest, I'd rather that you do push ups rather than you use the money to buy 2 10 to 20 pound dumbells for chest training.. the dumbells can be used for other exercises mate. Sure if you are just starting out, the 20 pound press will do. but not for long, since you say that you are a carpenter and i assume you've increased a heluva lotta strength in ya,buddy. Push-ups have mor resistance in them since you are using your body weight. Hmmm, I think, in my opinion, that you just save up a bit and just enroll in a not so expensive gym membership. So you could get the full experience and workout, buddy. Did this help you out buddy? :)
