alcohol and marijuana on gains - Friday, April 13, 2007 6:05 PM
ive heard alcohol will deminish your gains , like if u go to  the gym and work out , and later that night have a beer all your gains are lost  but what im wondering is
how long does it affect you , if you work out on like monday and drink tuesday does it deminish the gains from the day before , one of my friends that body builds says it does up to 3 days after a work out is that tru?
also does marijuana do this? i do not use the mary jane but am curious , thanks

getting drunk every once in awhile on weekends isnt going to kill your gains, just dont have a beer all the time because then it will...Marijuana what ive heard from this site is pretty debatable, but ive come up with, it wont hurt your gains but of course smoking anything will hurt your health in some way, possibly regular use will hurt your cardio, but as long as you eat healthy when your smoking it, and you dont do it regularly (because it will amke you lazy and less motivated if you do it constantly, but not true for everyone) then it shouldnt dimenish gains...

Alot of people i know and people on this site smoke pot regulary and they are huge so it all depends on you.
