Just was wondering if anyone has been following the Junior Olympics this weekend? My buddies son has just finished competeing at his first Junior Olympics and has won the GOLD, at the 10-11 year old age bracket in Powerlifting. His name is Robbie Karstendiek. Just bragging for him as he is like a second son to me and deserves a little recongnition for all his sacrifice and dedication .

That is awesome! He should be very proud.

I didn't realize that they offer powerlifting in the Jr Olympics. What type of equipment rules do they have? IPF? USAPL?

Again, that is a great accomplishment!
