Cheap is coffee, Caffiene helps with the muscle soreness too. Otherwise a good Preworkout drink may help. I have used Superpump250 forever, just recently I have switched pre drink to see any difference

I'm getting quite the following. I have two guys training with me now. Everyone is over 40 years old. I guess they see that I can do it, so they can do it too. I just make sure they do it correctly. I usually do my creatine after my workouts. Most post workout drinks have it in them. I may be wrong, but thats when i do it. I figure I lift in the gym to build muscle out of the gym.

I think I'm gonna have to disagree on the caffeine for this one due to its during and after effects. Sleep is very important to maintain a homeostasis that favors anabolism. Caffeine tends to keep a guy awake, especially if taken on an empty stomach. It can also be very dehydrating and it is a powerful anorectic. In the case of stimulants legal is not exactly a way of describing something that will be easy on you. In the RC field there is a stimulant right now that is legal called desoxypipradrol, this is about 20 times the cns stimulating effects of methamphetamine and boasts a dosage level of about 0.5 mg, it anorectic potential is about on par with a comparitive dose. Modafanil, developed in part as a "methadone for cocaine" can be had in some legal circles, particularily RC. Its a good stimulant, non addictive, great for truckers, no jitters. I see potential for mild stimulation in methylhexamine, some say it comes from geranium oil but thats b.s., its only constitutes maybe .01%, it is in some supplements, do a search. For this type of stimulation, like for working out ephedrine couldn't be beat. But, you may need to go to the route of the problem, I for instance am always low on energy, I don't sleep enough, I don't eat right, you have to find the balance that works for you. There are amino acids that are really good for energy, supplemental b12 via subcutaneous injection is a must for someone suffering with low energy. Thyroid activity has a HUGE effect on you energy levels, as it essentially dictates the rate you are able to produce energy from food. Take a good look at how you live right now, record what you eat and do and look at it as a whole at somepoint, things jump out at you. YOu might all of a sudden realize, hey I don't eat lunch at the same time everyday or on weekends I just have a whores breakfast when I get up.(whores breakfast=coffee and a cigarette). Look at your sleep schedule, record how many times a night you wake up, consistant sleep is all important for energy. good luck, I'm sure you will figure it out. A good ginseng supplement containing only the fraction with the 6%gensenosides(sp?) is supposed to enhance energy as well.
