i personnally would take the muscle milk before bed to help with the anabolic state of sleep. it's not as heavy with whey and whatnot. your zma would probably be good either pre- or post-workout. no need to take the muscle milk with milk. it is better tasting, but it isn't unbearable if it's with water. :)

ZMA is usually a night time (pre-bed) supplement because it's most effective during deep sleep; but calcium blocks its absorption, so you should try to avoid calcium containng products. I dont think that you really need ZMA, if your 18, as it's a test booster... i'm a hipocrite only being 21, but yeah, you probably dont need it.

ZMA is a test booster? LOL. Do you know what ZMA is? At best, its a sleep at. At worst, its like flushing your money down the toilet.

zma is not a test booster in any way, it helps your body produce more test. if it CAN, if you eat meat and/or are bulking, zma is a waste of money(gives you trippy ass dreams tho) w/o zinc and magnesium aspartate your body cant produce its "peak" amount of testosterone, so for people who dont eat meat, it would be wise to take it, because 90 minutes after you go to sleep your body produces testosterone, if there is an absence of zinc and magnesium aspartate in your body when it tries to produce testosterone you wont be able to produce the maximum testosterone, so basicly zma doesnt nescesarily boost your testosterone, it allows your body to produce as much testosterone as it wants and that it. hopefully that was accurate and helpful, if not please feel free to correct w/e i wrote that was incorrect.

Actually, I was talking to the guy who said that it was a test booster. It is nothing of the sort. ZMA is zinc, magnesium, and a b vitamin. Zinc has been shown to increase test levels in SEVERLY ZINC deprived people. That fact has been blown out of proportion -- normal folks it does nothing.

im only 17, but i dont eat meat and lift every day and im on a diet to loose weight and gain muscle gradually, so i know that theres no way i could possibly be getting adequate zince to produce the test that normal dieting teens my age can, therefore i feel supplimenting w/ zma is beneficial to me, if not please let me know. id still probably take it so i could have those dreams, its like an acid trip a night:)

Why is it that you can't possibly be getting enough zinc? That's sort of a sily statement. Take a multi-vitamin and you are set.
