saw this on teenbodybuilding its not illegal what do u think good or bad no side effects. site is below for more info ZMA is a scientifically designed anabolic mineral formula. It contains Zinc Monomethionine Aspartate plus Magnesium Aspartate and vitamin B-6, and is an all-natural product that has been clinically proven to significantly increase anabolic hormone levels and muscle strength in trained athletes. It is all natural! Studies have shown that supplementing with 30mg of Zinc and 450mg of Magnesium per day can elevate testosterone levels up to 30%! In a recent study, the strength of a group using ZMA increased by 11.6% compared to only a 4.6% increase in the placebo group. This is a great choice for people wanting to avoid prohormones. http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/hp/zmahp.html

I love it... Twin Lab brand. Great sleep with better recovery... read into eating and when to take it though, because most people don't do that and it doesn't work for them.

I personally do not believe ZMA has helped me anabolically but now at times I do take HiPower Nightime ZMA when I may have difficulty in sleeping. Normally my sleep time requires 6hrs, maybe 7hrs max. My sleep is deep and feels like I've slept for 10hrs., when I awake. When I do have difficulty sleeping at times is when I take ZMA, which for me brings back that deep sleep. However, I do have these realistic wild dreams (good dreams) which very vivid in color. Peace

Hey Weapon X can u tell me or give me some instructions on takeing it plz..?? Yea, it works best on a empty stomach. I believe it's calcium that blocks the magnesium receptors... one of the primary ingrediants in ZMA, and basically almost everything under the sun has some calcium in it. Especially your favorite protein shake, which is what some people take before they go to bed... so some of the people who don't get anything from it may be taking it to close to a meal. All my info was found off of Bodybuilding.com... Big Cat did a write up on ZMA. You may be able to find the article if you do a search. Anyway, all he recomends is... say you eat at 7:00 and your next meal is supposed to be at 10:00, then bedtime... take the ZMA at 9:30, a half hour should be more than enough time for it to obsorb into your body... then at 10:00, have your shake or whatever. It's not a miracle supplement, and I agree with Jram about it not really being a huge strength increaser like it claims, but the price is right and it definetely helps you sleep better... which will help you recover better and to make overall better gains. I sleep a straight 8 hours with it... and dream like crazy... If your concern is getting better sleep... I have also had really, really good luck with Valerian Root (GNC Brand). Mellows me right out... I just start reading or something and drift right away.....

I bought ZMA just to help me sleep. Melatonin really didn't help so I thought I'd give this a try. I sleep 8 hours a night but it is a light sleep. A mouse fart could wake me up. Lately I've been feeling more refreshed after sleep using ZMA. At $10 a month that is a cheap price for some good sleep.

If you have trouble falling asleep, just use Melatonin Combined with Valerian :)

Hey Tyler06!! Believe me... if you want a good night sleep take the zma. I havent taken it personally. but Weapon X is my fiance and when he takes it like a half hour before he goes to bed. In a matter of minutes he falls asleep. And I sit there waiting too..I have taken the Valerin root a few times. They work good. i hate the smell of them. But then I'm a girl..lol.. I'm not one for taken pills or suplements. Also i heard w/ the zma you have some crazy dreams but sleep very well. I hope this helps...

Like in the recent post, does ZMA block off estrogen conversion? Any side effects? Should it be taken before a workout?
