I took it during contest prep about 2 years ago... to my surprise it actually kept me awake, so I started taking it about an hour or so prior to bedtime instead of the recommended 15 minutes. I didn't notice any significant results but in fairness to the supplement, my diet at the time was not exactly condusive to putting on loads of muscle. D
