X-Mass routine... - Friday, December 12, 2008 3:05 PM ( #1 )
I read of this routine in a muscle fitness mag and was thinking about trying it after the holidays. this is my own little variation of it. I've been doing full body workouts 3 times a week for the past 4 months, i saw good gains from it but i have plateaued on every lift, and have no been able to gain any wiehgt either. to many sets imo but good exercises and 3 day splits are very good as well

you really only need one working set to failure then you can follow it with that 20 rep widow maker set

for example on deadlifts

if ure working set is 3 plates do

1 set set - bar
2 - 1 plat
3 - 1 plate
4 - 2 plates
5 - 2 plates
6 - WORKING set of 3 plates (do this till failure)

Then the following week you up the weight by 5-10lbs on each side.

If u gradually keep increasing the lift by 5-10 lbs ull eventually hit ure 1-2rm and when you do that you move onto a different exercise.

Do this and i gurantee youll see more growth than you ever have.

YOU GOTTA EAT BIG, TO BE BIG!!
