Hi. (first post so please be nice, hehe)

Been thinking about starting training for a while now.

I have a very slim build and as I am very small boned I have slim wrists, this's a part of me which a tend to cover and wear long sleeves tops whenever i can.

However I was wondering if my arms should grow (from training) would my wrist size also "bulk" up?

Thanks for the help.

I too have very small wrists (not so much that I would be ashamed to show them though). I usually have to be selective on what type of watch I buy. But your wrist is composed of 8 (i think) bones --- not muscle. The wrist is not covered in any muscle so no amount training could give you that. But bigger muscles (forearm muscles) may give the impression of having larger wrists --- or it may have the exact opposite Smile.

To be honest I don't know if it will create a visual deception or not.

Do deadlifts without gloves or straps and your forearm will grow.  This, combined with thin wrists, actually makes you look popeye'ish.

Thin wrists make your arms look better, so don't worry about it.
