Workout interruptions advice - Wednesday, June 20, 2007 3:24 PM ( #1 )
I have a home office and I work 4 out of 5 days at home.  I usually do full body workouts Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  I have 3 kids and up until now, the wife was at home but now she is back to work after 12 years.

The net result is I've ended up becoming Mr. Mom when she's late getting home from work.  Also if the 2 year old is at home I often find I will be in the middle of a workout and have to go be Dad.  I can have up to half hour interruptions in my workout and a 1 hour 50 minute workout with 11 exercises and 3 sets at the 12-16 rep range extend into 3 to 4 hours.

I know my pump is foobared, but, is working out this way pointless for strength or tone/bulk gains?  What am I losing here?
