Ok so right now for my Biceps during my workout I do alternating dumbell curls and I guess pushups help too, (and of course thats all plus my other stuff) but I don't quite feel the burn in my biceps like I used to. I tried getting heavier dumbells but that helped only for all groups BUT my biceps.
What I am asking is what are some good other workouts that I can do for my biceps? Right now I only have a set of 20 pound and also a set of 30 pound dumbells, I am just looking for some workouts I could do or something like that. Thanks in advance people!
dont' get fixed dumbells if you are tight on cash. get the loose ones which you can increase in increments. that should take care of your lack of weights.
second of what kind of bicep routine do you have? how big of a break do you take in between one bicep workout to the next?
mix up your bicep routine(don't do one kind of exercise), when you don't have equipments, be creative. if you had some kind of bench that had an incline function it would help mixing up the routine.
do different kinds of curls: preacher curls, standing curls, hammer curls, would be some suggestions. also try doing pull ups in your routine until you manage to get some form of gym membership or gym equipment..
and pushups don't help your bicep, it is a body weight exercise that focuses primarily on your chest and triceps. After you reach a certain number of reps in pushups, it no longer provides strength, but endurance.
