sorry this is just me complaining but I got my wisdom teeth pulled yesterday and it sucks...I can't excersize forever or my blood pressure rises and they will all start bleeding again. And to top it all off I can't eat most foods yet. Frustrating but oh well. It could've went worse I suppose.

I guess I'm the more forchunate one, I got one already in, two more poked through the gums and the forth is taking its sweet time. Having a big mouth is nice when you don't think you got the money to remove them, lol. Joy.
Three week keto test run Started July 19 It will work, or I'm done dieting.

oh that's pretty nice, they just pulled the top ones but my bottoms had to be broken apart. They also stitched the bottoms afterward. Thanks for all the ecouragment, but its only my second day and all I've done is sit on the couch, play GTA, and watch bourne identity and like 6 episodes of just shoot me. I'm soooooooo bored haha any suggestions of what I could do?

Hey fellas sorry to bring this back from the dead. I just happen to be needing to search about others' experience before I start feeling frustrated. I hope you bear with me a little here.. Anyway I just had my left lower 3rd & 2nd molar extracted today as well and I'm wondering how long will I have to wait before I can go back to the gym. I had those two impacted teeth for the longest time & it's only now that I had them attended to. I've always thought they'd waste so much time out of my life waiting for post surgery wounds to heal but had to go through the process someday. True enough I'm in the rut this early already. I don't wanna lose momentum in my workouts. The diet ain't the biggie coz I can manage to be creative with oats and eggs and stuff but the gym ceasefire is the killer! For two days straight until yesterday I went at it in the gym like I was having break-up sex with the weights. One last hurrah that felt so good that it psychologically feels worse now LOL!

People are such babies with wisdom teeth, I do realize this is a dead thread. But seriously mine were busted all up, one alone took almost 2 hours to get out, but that night I was hanging with my friends went out to a movie and having fun. I did look like a chipmunk with a sore on the outside of my lip from his tool for the two hours on the one tooth. I seriously think people are such wimps when it comes to wisdom teeth and root canals and all that stuff. Seriously got my root canal and I felt ten times better. I didn't even use any pain meds when I got my wisdom teeth out, suck it up and go have fun. Sorry carcinohate I didn't answer your question cause I would say just lift and don't over stress yourself, but I have no medical knowledge to back myself. I had a couple molars pulled when I was a kid and I don't remember being limited as to my activities. Except I ate some awesome broccoli cheese soup after the dentist.

I lifted later that day in weightlifting team after having all of my wisdom teeth removed. The cleans were the hard part because the force basically vibrated through my whole body. Otherwise it wasn't that bad.

DxM Why wouldnt you take your pain meds? Isnt that like the best part of getting surgery? They make me vomit and I am not into the drug feel. If I have severe pain I have found taking 1k mg of ibuprofen and 1k mg of tylenol will conquer anything.

I know mine were very simple with little pain as they all just got pulled but others really arent as fortunate and it can be very painful

Yup...^ the wisdom teeth I had pulled were straight and true, they just popped out... I have another one that is gonna need to go (at some point). I was told and saw on the x-ray, that the root of my tooth actually hooks into my gums going outward... So they will have to flay my gums open, get the root out with .... a chisel... and that why I still have 2 wisdom teeth....

why was this not posted in the OOB forum? I was wondering the same thing. I guess a lot of people just don't have a grasp on forum etiquette. thehardway Yup...^ the wisdom teeth I had pulled were straight and true, they just popped out... So they will have to flay my gums open, get the root out with .... a chisel... and that why I still have 2 wisdom teeth.... That's basically what happened with me, I think. I had all 4 out at once, and they cut in through the gums and had to bust the teeth up into bits before they could be pulled out. Also, they didn't bother telling me that the usual orthodontist would be out of town and that a newbie would be performing the surgery. I can't help but think that it didn't have to be so bad. To top it all off, as I was being escorted out on a wheelchair with a face bruised and swollen to 500% its normal size, I was given a script for Tylenol-3, one of the least potent prescription painkillers available... F*cking agony.

I ate whole food and saw a movie also that night. The pop corn kernels got into the cut and down into my jaw. It caused swelling and no healing for about 2 months until I went back. They did surgery again and took out the kernels. Then I was fine.

I only had 3 wisdom teeth and don't remember it being a bid deal when they took them out. I think they cut into my gums before they erupted. Maybe it pays to get them out early before they cement themselves in or something.

Lol, surgically removed kernels. I was careful not to eat things that would get stuck, although after the oral surgeon took the stitches out he accidentally left one in, got it removed a few weeks later.
