I have been lifting for about 9 months now I have used many a few different creatines and a few pre workout supps and I have gained some decent muscle in 9 months. Before I started lifting I lost about 40 pounds jogging but I still have a gut and need to loose more fat, I want to cut but I hear stories of loosing muscle any advice on what not to do? I eat through out the day but I fell weaker since im no longer taking creatine and No pre workout supps? What can I do I feel asleep in the gym?

u will most likely lose muscle during cutting but to keep it minimum, u should have a clean diet, aim for losing 1lb a week, and keep hitting ur muscles at the gym. You will definitely lose strength since u stopped using creatine and ur on a calorie defiect diet. This is normal and dont worry about it.

Remember this ratio (2:1) for bulking and cutting.

Bulk: For every 2lbs of muscle gained, roughly 1lb fat will be gained. (3 lbs total)

Cut: For every 2lbs of fat lost, roughly 1lb of muscle will be lost. (3 lbs total)

These number can be manipulated some with proper nutrition, rest, routines, etc
