Who benches the most on here? - Wednesday, December 19, 2007 7:33 AM ( #1 )
I have benched 430 at 180 which ranked 43rd in the nation in 2000 and have benched 460 in 198.which din't even get ranked.I'll stick to the 181 pound class. Also did 413 with messed up elbows in the 198 usapl weighing 188 for a state record.Which has since been beaten. But my best raw no shirt has been 410 at 185 and a close miss at 420.Which i hope to push up another 10 to 20 pounds this year to 430 at 180 which will equal my best with a shirt.Yes i have benched 400 and over my name is dan swackhammer.
Has anybody on here benched 500 pounds?Who benches the most?I have the atmost respect for anybody that benched over 400 pounds. That is alot of weight for anybody that is natrual.Especially 500 which is unreal for being natrual and no shirt.
Sorry i won't give anybody know more advice. If you want advice pm me.Didn't know everybody is so touchy here.

Dae_light is probably not far from 500. I believe there are a few others over 400.

I am going to say false impersination by swacky..

Dan Swackhammer

Is this powerlifter that your talking about... But on two different occasions you posted your name as

Yes i am dan swachammer.

Your also very eager to continue on talking about your 400lb+ bench press..  Although the routine you wrote actually looks like it might possibly work "if improvised a little bit"  I believe you may be getting everything your writting from google searches...

It would have been more credible if you had spelled the persons name correctly who you are impersinating.

Yes i am who i say i am.I can give you my address and you can meet if you want.If that interests you.
Yes i am proud of my bench record and benching 460 with a shirt and a close miss at 420 at 185.Who wouldn't be.
What's wrong with benching over 400 pounds?I know some people get jealous because i can out bench them at a lower bodyweght.Your not one of then are you?
Nothing wrong with helping people bench more what they are benching now is it?Follow the bench routine that i gave and it will increse your bench.

Wait, if your all natural and a serious powerlifter, who is trying to recapture your PA record, why in the hell would you do a greg valinteno arm routine???

I been working out for almost 20 years no steroids which i'am proud of no easy way out.Been competing since 1993.Had pa state bench record at one time. Will get it back. Also just got greg valentino tape off ebay.Great video.Already 1/4 inch to my arm with his workout.Hopefully by next spring will have 48 inch chest and 19 inch arms pumped and a pr on my bench. Will see.Don't have camera or i would post pics.See if i can get a camera off somebody i know.See ya.

Why do I think your never going to find a camara...hmmm?

Probably the same reason you don't know how to spell your name.

No one who has been trainig for over 20 years claiming to be at that advanced of a level is going to be able to put on half an inch on their bi within 30 days... It's takes 15lbs of muscle to equal 1 inch on the average male frame... If he's training for that long.. no way he can put on 7.5lbs of muscle in a month.. maybe it's possible.. slighly possibly but highly unlikely.. Natually anyway...

I know lots of guys who are dedicated to nothing but power lifting and I've never ran across one who actally gives a rats ass about having oversized arms enough to go out and purchase a Greg Valentino exercise tape... I'm  finding myself starting to chuckle a little as well..

Oh you can add half an inch but not naturally.. I don't see that happening..   30 days 10 - 15lbs gain using PH/AS but naturally?  Umm yeah I doubt that.. either that or thats some really gifted genetics!

Well i always wanted big arms so i bought the video.I'am 18/12 right now pumped at 5'6.Yes i did gain a half inch but i took half my finger off at work about a month so i haven't been able to train for a while. So actually i'am gaining bavk what i already had before. But still i never gained a half inch back that fast. This year i'll see if i can get to 19 inches pumped.Should look pretty freakish since i'am only 5'6.

Not spelling your name correctly was a huge BS sign...But it could happen?? But the question below... You've managed to bust yourself...No way someone training 20 years would not know what he was talking about..

This is why I asked him for the link...  But he did not spell the name correctly twice, that can't happen.

I hope he can come up with a link or else he just might get banned for trolling. - that would be up for debate though -  Since that is totally up to marc and he did not do anything wrong.. except for impersonating someone from the internet.

The real guy
http://www.purepowerlifting.com/all_american_bp_2000.htm

He posts on go heavy as well, but it seems also like the real guy.

our Swanky seems to emulate his not spacing after punctuation, but in go heavy he doesn't always do it.

Swachammer and Swackhammer are two variant spellings of the same surname (at least according to some genealogy sites). Some people use a couple different spellings of their name, but that's usually if they're in show-business or one spelling is particularly hard or has ambiguous pronunciation.

There are posts by somebody going by the name Dan Swackhammer (with a K) on a powerlifting board that appears to be the same person as our swacky460; even with the same unusual use of punctuation with no spaces after it.

Edit: Ooops, everybody beat me to it while I was typing.

Threads like these annoy me. It all starts with a new member. Who can bench outragesly large numbers for their size. Then every person who is actually experienced wastes good minutes of their life Proclaiming how good they are. From now on why not just ignore them?

See, what bothers me about potential imposters, (and I thought about this last night, I stayed late at work because of this thread, and that is rediculous); is that people will take advice based on perceived experiance. Not saying that his bench routine was bad, per say.

It is a dodgey enough proposition, taking training advice from stranges on line, all of us hear are regular, we know who's methodology we like , and who's we don't, and who's is maybe different but worth listening to.

To have someone come on here, who continue=ally boast and drop lots of names so that people will liisten to them is generally a red flag, and then to have them give advice, or state their own training that is incongruent to their gaols, with 20 plus years experiance, well we the regulars might be able to sniff out that his claims are potentially fraudulent, or at least warrent scrutiny, but the newbies won't. They will take it at face value. They think they are talking to an expert.

That is a dangerous scenario. I don't want someone to get hurt. And I personally hate liars.

I believe somoundou reps at 405 without a second though, I really wouldn't think any less of his training knowledge if he benched 225. I respected his opinion way before he ever made it known what he can put up. I aquired this respect because of the predecessing months of advice that was sound well thought out and intelligant.

It is not the weight of his bench that caused me to stay late and post to this thread, it was the way he presented himself, to others as well as the training he himself claims he does, and more importantly, why he is training himself that way. .. Because it doesn't add up, and I don't want to see anybody, hurt because of it.

what's it like to bench that much? do you go from about 200lbs to 300lbs in a year or 2, then maybe put on 50 lbs, then 20 lbs, then 10 lbs, then just constantly put on 5 lbs a year? i mean eventually it has to slow down bc of age. otherwise we'd all be benching thousands of lbs. i hope to be at 300 by summer.
1 rep max: 260 lbs
Goal: 300 lbs
Been lifting for 9 years, still going
