Whey intake time

So after 10 days I have to start to fast because of my muslim calendar. I can't eat or drink anything until 6 PM and I am on a bulk. Recently I have read that it is important to intake whey 3 times a day, Morning, 40 mins before workout and immediately after workout. What do you guys suggest for me to do to keep my calorie surplus and for the whey to do its job properly ? Sorry I must have posted this in the diet and nutrition

Please explain this better. Because you really don't need to take whey 3 times a day. So how many days can you not eat until 6 pm, is it one day? If so then don't worry about it, if it is for a certain amount of time please elaborate so we can help.

I can't imagine how catabolic you would be eliminating protein after 6PM, unless you wake up at 3-4AM. As far as whey protein goes, you don't need that 3 times per day, you should take maybe 1-2 protein shakes per day, but there's no way I would take it 3 times per day. Upon morning, pre-bed or pre-workout (maybe 2 out of the 3) is when the protein requirement significantly increases.. it's still no reason to take protein shakes though. Chicken, salmon, turkey, beef any of that would be good too.

He is asking for his fasting period for his religion. I had a muslim friend awhile back and I remember him doing this. I would suggest taking it immediately after your fasting is over. And if possible work out in the evening. Try eating a good amount of good fats and casein protein before your fast as well to help tide things over.
