He means that simple sugars in excess are converted to fat in the body and also overstimulate insulin response, which promotes fat storage.

I would go with whey protein after working out, but listen to these fine gentlemen and just eat ALOT of healthy food for the remaining meals.

Ziad123 So i should just go with whey protein, even if I am thin? Yes sir. Just add some carbs like banana, or honey. You could eat things like peanut butter to make up for the calories too.

just make your own shake from food from the house. like many have mentioned using protein + oatmeal + banana + PB and some milk can easily give you the calories needed.
