I am starting to take protein, glutamine and cratine, I am just curious when the best time to take ea one is? I have heard that taking them too close to eachother can harm the way your body digests them. Alos how much of ea( mainly creatine, glutamine) should i be taking a day. Thanks Alot. Any other tips on these products would be great.

Protein right after you workout, before you sleep (at least 1.5 hours after dinner), Creatine 30 min before you workout, so it regenerates your ATP during your workout. I dont think it matters when you take the glutamine, you can take it with Creatine, try not to take it with the whey protein though. After your Creatine loading phase 20 g a day for about 4-6 days depending on your lean muscle mass. Then just do 5 g a day after that, I would only cycle it for about 1 month on, 3 weeks off, some people do it for 5-6 weeks on 3 weeks off. As for the whey protein try and have about 1.3-1.7 grams per lb that you weigh. Also dont forget about Carbs, search this forums or on google, for some good articles on what your carb,protein, fat ratio should be...

In addition, instead of just taking creatine before your workout, try taking 5 grams before and 5 grams right after your workout. If you really wanna get creative, take Glutamine with water during your workout. It will taste like crap, but the whole idea is to keep it in ur body which will decrease your chances of going catabolic (body eat muscle for fuel). Try getting some aminos and BCAA's in a powdered drink form. They will help out alot too.
