Okay, so, i've been wondering alot lately if i should seriously start working out. I just turned 14 yesterday and it gave me a big modivation to start working out, but I'm not too sure if i'm too young... So, i'm korean (Yeah, I know, not very good genes...) and i'm at about 5'1 and weigh about 99-100 pounds. I'm pretty sure i gotta eat alot more. I do have a workout place near my home, and it's easy to reach except i don't really like going there because i'm so scrawny, and all the people there are so bulky, and when i mean bulky, i mean bulky... So i was wondering how I could do any excersises maybe without having to go to the gym, and if i should start now or wait? Also, maybe help out on what i should start eating, and how much i should eat? Advices appreciated!!

If I were you I would gain some weight first, maybe around 20 pounds until you start working out. But to start out look at the nutrition forum and find out the amount of daily calories you need. Make sure you are eating 5-6 meals a day and don't do much activity for the first bit until you gain the weight. 100 pounds is really light, but your only 14. Also you can take a look at the nutrition section on what to eat. So all in all to start find out your daily calories. Here is a good article to also look at: http://www.discussbodybuilding.com/m_111173/mpage_1/key_/tm.htm#111173

Oh man... I didn't know how complicated eating was!!! All i did was pick and eat... I'm not too sure where to start... I'll start paying alot more attention to what i eat, but i'm still not sure exactly what i should eat. Edit: Hmm, I think i should post what I eat: Breakfast: Cereal/Bread/Rice(Korean food) Lunch: Not too sure about this one... Dinner: Half the time rice or chicken/ meat/ etc...

Well you don't have to get too serious about it cause your 14, but to start find out your daily calorie needs. Then divide that by 5 or 6 because you want to be eating 5-6 meals a day instead of the average 3. Eat clean, healthy foods, not junk food and such. We can get that down once you figure out how much calories you need a day. Also once you start working out your going to want to up your protein intake so you have to take that all into account for what you eating during the day.

spray bottle, o you have anything that you could put on your back while doin push ups? or on your chest while your doing sit ups? if you can cut down the reps you are doing per excersise to 8-12 per set that will lead you in a better direction for building muscle than doing the large amount of reps you are currently doing.
