When to stop eating

I have been eating at these times, approximately 8am 10.30am 12.30pm 3pm 6pm and then having something like a hard boiled egg and a slice of whole wheat bread at around 9pm and a protein shake at 10.30 or so. I've just been reading some posts that say no eating after 6pm or at least no carbs at night. If I eat every 2-3 hours throughout the day and then stop at 6 I think I will be very hungry by 9 or 10 and that's not good is it? advice please.

I wouldn't think it would be a good idea unless you fall asleep early in the evening. But I do know that I get pretty damn hungry if I don't eat for four hours... Your body really isn't doing anything different with the food than it has been doing all day right?? I think it's probably going to be more likely don't eat until 12 lol. Do you think that is logical?

Everything I've heard says don't eat a lot of carbs before bedtime. I assume having a bunch of fat isn't very good either. I have a high protein, low carb snack before bedtime. I can't sleep if I'm hungry, and I imagine my body starts pulling nutrients out of my muscles if I am.
