What's everyon'es breakfast? - Monday, May 05, 2008 6:02 AM
Just wondering what everyone's breakfast's are.  I have about 3 different ones I rotate throughout the week, but now I'm looking for some variations.  Here are my current one's.

Meal 1: 3 whole eggs 2 egg white omelet with chives and cooked in a little coconut oil
3 oz (dry weight) *a little over a cup dry* oats
half a banana or 1 cup organic berries when in season
8 oz. mushrooms
half a large onion
sauteed spinach
coffee (black)

Meal 2:
4 whole scrambled eggs in pastured butter
2 slices Ezekiel Cinnamon Raisin bread toasted
1 Tbsp Naturally More Peanut Butter
Sauteed veggies
1 apple
Coffee (black)

Meal 3:
2 whole poached eggs
1 Ezekiel english muffin
1 cup organic whole milk plain yogurt with cinnamon, stevia, and thawed frozen berries mixed in
1 Tbsp Naturally More PB
sauteed spinach and garlic
Coffee of course


My breakfasts range from 600-700 cals.  I'm especially curious about some good healthy pancake recipies if anyone has them

protein smoothie
1.5 cups milk
1 cup oatmeal uncooked
1 scoop of protein powder
1 spoonful peanut butter

3 eggs microwaved
sometimes some yogurt if i feel like it

Pumping the iron, moving the lead.  I hope all the attention I get doesn't go to my head.

Mine's a bit simple compared to you guys!

ON 100% choc mixed with a cup of oats
tbsp peanut butter.

Gonna start adding more calories in the morning!!

Option 1
- 1 cup oats
- 5 egg whites(hardboiled)
- 1tbsp of PB

Option 2
- 1 cup oats
- 5 egg white omelette
- Mushrooms/Onions
- 1tbsp of PB

Option 3
- Left overs
- Brown rice/meat/veggies

Protein shake(pb, whey, milk, raw oats) If I wake up late. Only done this a handful of times, I prefer the cooked oats and egg whites =p.




19 - 5'7
August 6th - 176 lbs 12% BF
June 1st - Bulk for 4-6 months! :)

Currently:

10 liquid egg whites (1 cup) mixed with 1 cup 2% milk and a scoop of ON whey
1 cup Kashi Autumn Wheat cereal
4 fish oil capsules

Right at 600 calories.

I don't know what her exact recipe is, but my wife makes pancakes for my kids to eat for breakfast.  They are wheat pancakes with peanut butter mixed in.  They are pretty tasty!  She makes a huge batch of them on Sunday, then the kids can get them out of the fridge and heat them up themselves.

- 2 peices of toast (flax or oat bran HFCS free) with natural peanut butter

- 2 eggs with omega-3 scrambled in microwave with natural ketchup (low sugar)

- 2 cups (500ml) skim milk

- Multivitamin, Anabolic OD (has creatine and other stuff in it)

Lol I did that for a long time (minus the chocolate mint) for my 2 hr. preworkout, and I also added a tiny piece of dark chocolate to it to melt in the middle after I cooked it....sooo good but I stopped becuase for some reason it gave me HORRIBLE gas.....I may start again despite the lethal flatulance...

organic.. please define organic. i hear that term tossed around and people are like "yeah man these are organic pop-tarts"

and to the poster...my breakfast is 3 things:
A
4 egg whites
2 sliced whole wheat
sprinkles of cinamon
1 tbsp vannila extract
shot of orange juice
- this is a bb'ers French Toast

B
4 egg whites, 1 whole egg (scramble throw some turkey/chicken in there)
1 cup oatmeal
2 pices of toast w/peanut butter

C quick and tasty!
1 scoop whey
1 cup oats
1 bannana
1 cup milk
mix it up and DEVOUR!!! MUWAHAHAHA!

Cup of Oatmeal - Cooked with brown sugar & milk + Protein shake 30min before workout...
