I'm 16 yo, weight 157lbs (don't know my BF% but it shouldn't be more than 12% i think) and am 183cm tall (sorry, don't know how much is it in inches ) anyways.. i've been weight lifting for almost a year, but only seriously the past 6 months.. the thing is then when i jumped from 160cm to 180cm i got really skinny (last August i was 130lbs), now that i have more muscle I just can't stop worrying bout my calves, they're just to damn skinny and i train'em hard and heavy.. What do you think? help me dude [&o]

you're like me so unless you've got really heavy bones or a really muscly upper body your legs can't be that skinny, but are you watching your diet eg eatin evry 2-3 hours, doing squats and deadlifts, 8-12 reps at least 3 sets etc look around the forum.

i say this alot but calve raises do miracles for me and if you have any flights of stairs in your gym ask if you can run them run them fast so you legs are pumpin' but your making slow progress(don't lunge or skip steps) school bleachers are also good just picture the look on a teachers face coming into to school for something and seeing you running the bleachers or even the football team practicing on the fields below or even the softball team they'll be like you'll be the next Rocky at your school

ORIGINAL: determined58 dude i don't get it i'm 14 160 lbs. and i squat 245X10 my bf%is probably in the teens an i'm 5'10 the taller you are the harder ir is to build muscle, I'm 183cm I think that's somewhere near 5'9 - 6'0 (correct me if i'm wrong) so it's easier for shorter people to grow muscle, no offense meant.. besides I also have bad genes ..
