What would happen.... - Monday, July 07, 2008 4:25 PM
Well, I am a long time reader on this form, first time posting(just really never felt the need to post). But In a few days i will have to go a whole day without eating any whole foods or foods basically. The only thing I am aloud to consume are, fruit juice, water, jello, chicken brooth and that about it. I can only have that the whole day with no foods. If your wondering why, well my doctor has me going in for a minnor procedure due to heath matters. But im really wondering if this will have a major affect on my muscle growth at status. I am gussing it will even if it is one whole day because i wont be having any protein the whole day. I have been bodybuilding for a little over a year now so im seriously thinking this is ganna destroy me because ive been on such a stright diet over the year. I also am not going to the gym that day because im gussing im ganna be dead tierd because i wont have any thing to keep me going but crapey sugar carbs. Please help me out, im really in need for some answers and suggestions, anything would be great!

Dude, don't worry about it.  Its one day.  Follow your doctors orders, there is a reason he doesn't want you to eat solid food.  You won't lose any muscle in one day.

You'll be fine.  One day is ok.  I imagine you will need maybe a few days off and that is fine as well.  Everyone needs some rest.  Don't worry about it at all.

I was sick for like 4 days and ate 2 cans of soup and like 4 crackers. I lost fat and still lifted the same after a week. Dont worry, you wont just piss all your muscle away.

Wow thanx for the fast replies i really appriciate it! RS i am not aloud to have milk eaither. Im happy with the post I guss it makes sense that it is only one day I mean every body does get sick and probably longer than one day. Maybe ill end up looking leaner. Anybody else have any opinions or suggestions? Thanx again!

Would a scoop of glutamine powder in your water be off limits?
