Ok I am going for a six pack. So far I am into a month and a half, I have lost say about 10-15 pounds. What are some other exercises for it? I am doing 2 miles per day, 60 crunches, 60 inverse sit-ups, and 60 leg lifts for them. Please I need advice, how to I go to the max?

15 lbs in 6 weeks is good fat loss, keep at it and when you don't have the extra fat, they'll show

Remember, you can't burn weight in one area by working it more often, not how the human body works. All the crunches and situps are doing is building muscle, not losing fat (but you need that for a 6-pack too).

ya what they said...you could crunch your asss off and not have a abs showing unless your fat is substantially low (my abs didn't start to show flexed untill I was about 15% bodyfat now im down to 13% and the top 4 are starting to show in a normal stanze) and some people get lucky and loose fat around their stomach easily and others don't just how the good lord made us different, but if you keep loosing that fat you'll have them but it takes time. simple equation: more cardio=more calories burned=more fat loss, and don't expect any results unless you have really clean diet, I mean really clean and you need to be burning more calories the you take in while still meeting your bodys protein need to help keep and build muscle so that means cutting carbs and fats, try to eat only low GI carbs and eat em before noon.

Lord they are hot though, don't touch, I advise. But you are burned, and penalised, of course overdramatise and you get the prize. I am that boy baby girl and now I will end your 9 lives.

LOL.. good job. Throw in weighted cable crunches into the mix for abs. Not only do you want a low percentage of body fat for the 6 pack to show but you need to make sure you HAVE a 6 pack to show. Building up the abs will really let them stand out once you get to a low enough percentage of body fat.

ok well i have a question the top abs i can see threw a little fat but my bottom ones i cant and i was wondering if that was normal or should i hit my lowers harder(btw i do weighted exercise not 100's of crunches and what not) what exercise could help other then weight leg raises(on bench). So my question is it normal to see top abs first or does it just depend on the person?

Bottom set of ab's are always the last ones to come in. try reverse crunches never letting your legs touch the ground (keep constant tension)

hey sheep man... i am 6'1 right now. I am still running 15 miles per week now guys. Here is my workout chart: http://www.posters.us.com/darren/chart.html Dont mind the bottom. But now since I started I can REALLY feel my abs, but they have yet to show through. I am eating a protein bar before workout and havin a shake after so muscle is also being built.

Hey, my Workout plan is very similar to yours. I have one Lifting day and one Ab Day. But I do a lot less leg work than you do.

i recently read in a book from "goodlife fitness" that striving for abs is not always good, because while some men have visible abs at 10% bf, some must go lower, and there are a percentage of the population that would need 2% BF for visible abs, and of course, 2% is not healthy, so concentrate on obtaining a look befitting of yourself.

I dont think thats the case with me. If you want a good ab book get the Mens Health one. Tells you how to eat too. Anyways normanger man remember you need to have a symmetrical workout otherwise your body will be screwed up. I try to keep it balanced. Also its not on my chart but after each workout day I go swimming where I do laps, butterfly etc...
