Naturally, the time of day that you weigh yourself affects the number that appears on the scale. Of course you will be lighter if you jump on the scale first thing in the morning before you've eaten or drank anything.

Yesterday afternoon I weighed myself and was 209. This morning, upon waking up, I was 200.5.

Which figure is closer to my actual weight, and when you guys tell people how much you weigh are you referring to the number you get in the morning or at a different time of day?

i weigh myself in the morning before eating and after using the bathroom...it doesnt really matter when you do, just do it consistenly at the same time...youd probably get more reliable numbers in the morning, once you eat and drink it could vary differently each day.

You're going to get more consistent results in the morning... I always go by a morning measure. In the afternoon you're full of food, which can vary a lot. On the other hand, you're more dehydrated and empty in the morning, which is not typical of the weight you're carrying around all day. But it's not like one is more empirically valid than the other.

well mainly because i am dehydrated when i wake up, so i feel that my average weight does not include me being dehydrated thus i drink the water.

I almost never give my morning weight.. I shift 3 - 4 lbs though from morning to night.. I guess with all the food out of me and in the morning I am around 207 - 206 and at night I am around 210 - 211

Morning weight is accurate. Either way if you see that scale moving up you know your making progress.
