when you pound the carbs and calories to gain mass,,, getting rid of the "lean" look

Hypnotised to realise that this surprise will end in demise in front of your eyes. Shining with lies you sent your spies, spat your alibies and your words rotted, rotted and attracted flies. Your boy cries but you proceed to fratenise with those baby blue eyes, eyes like the sky you pleaded for ties. Your stomach cries, and you envisionise a plate full of fries. Lord they are hot though, don't touch, I advise. But you are burned, and penalised, of course overdramatise and you get the prize. I am that boy baby girl and now I will end your 9 lives.

When you are in a bulking up phase, what you are trying to do is continue your workouts as before, but radically change your diet. Eat at least five times a day. Your meals should have lots of protein to build muscle mass, carbs for energy and fats to maintain your overall "balance." The daily diet should include at least two high-protein shakes. Usually a bodybuilder will go into a bulking stage if he or she wants to get larger, for instance grow from a light weight to a middle weight. The theory is if you want to add five pounds of muscle, you might need to bulk up an additional 20-25 pounds of lean mass. Then, as you go into the cutting phase, you burn off about two pounds of fat for every pound of muscle, leaving you larger, with more muscle.

Reeve: At 15 years of age, 5'8", 145 pounds, and 5% body fat, if you want to add 15 pounds by the summer (about six months), making you 160, you can do that. But you won't be 5% body fat. You will be more like 12% or maybe a little higher. If you want to stay lean, while you add muscle, you should shoot for a growth of no more than 5 pounds of muscle a year. An ideal first goal would be to be 150 and about 8% body weight by the summer. In order to achieve this, you would need to add about 15 pounds of lean mass, taking you to 160. Then, you should go on a cutting/fat burning diet for about four weeks to drop the 10 pounds of fat and keep the new five pounds of muscle. You will be a cut, lean-mean 150 pound bodybuilder (a lightweight class)

Old Navy, Great advice. That first response of yours was one of the most accurate, purposeful and well-articulated responses I've read for sometime.
