I just want to start off by introducing myself. Whats up to everybody here. Im 19 years old and live in Southern California. Through all my years in high school ive been battling my whole weight situation. I played football 3 out of the 4 years i was there. My last year there in 2005 my football weight was always between 210-215 pounds just because i worked out everyday. Well after football was over i just lived a normal highschool life, and started gaining weight slowly. So now according to my calculations ive gained a lot of weight. Right now these are my specs which are not good by the way...
Weight: 106.81 kg or 235 pounds (i think thats right in kg)
Waist:40
Height: 177.8 cm or 5'10"
Age: 19 years old
Sex: M
Job: Home Depot Building materials(so im constantly lifting heavy things..90 lb bags on a daily basis) I sweat a whole lot..
 
     So now that you have most of my information, i was wondering if there would be anyone out there that would possibly consider helping me calculate what my daily calorie intake should be along with a nice good filling diet. My main goal is to get back down to around 215 with a little more muscle mass. Also while shrinking my waist.
      I want to lose weight and gain some muscle. I plan on purchasing more of a home weight set..but right now i work out mon, wed, friday with a bar with a total weight of 45 pounds. My routine starts off with a little stretch, then i do 10 push ups, then i do 10 curls, followed by 10 lifts straight up above my head behind my back and back up. Then 10 more curls followed by 10 more of the behind my back. After that i do my final 10 push ups and im done for the night. I know i have to do more exercise..but until i get the weights and bench, this will have to do. So can someone help me figure out the calorie intake i should have and what not. I will purchase protein shakes or what not once i know what i need. All of your opinions and ideas are deeply valued. Thank you in adavance!

allows you to track, well, everything.  gives you a general idea of how much you should be eating in a day.  Eat 500 calories a day less than your total metabolic rate.

i set up an account, but still dont get this whole thing. I know i sound like an idiot, but im not used to all of this. Once i figure out how many calories i should have, what kind of supplements would you recommend? I want to build muscle and lose some weight..i want to get down to around 200lbs with out the man boobs! Any suggestions?
