What do I do if Im sick! - Monday, March 13, 2006 4:41 PM
Hi I just recently got a huge cold and strepthroat. I was wondering if I should still workout even though I have this and that my throat is soar everytime I breath. Please any suggestions.

dude i can honestly say that you do need to take some time off until you get well. if its a cold it should pass in just a few days anyways.

but i had the same problem. i got real sick on sunday, and even though i was still sick on monday, i worked out anyways. with 3 scoops of no-xplode in my system, and a dosage of thermogain. this was a very bad idea and a big mistake.

i was fine at first, probably the no-xplode doing its job, but from the beginning of my workout i noticed that i was somewhat light headed. but here recently i have begun to devote myself to finally finishing my goal of improving my health and body image. anyways, i tried to ignore it, and i pushed myself very hard to improve gains and intensity because i noticed i was using the same weight that i was with the last workout.

within 30 minutes i almost dropped 140 pounds of weight on my chest, which is what i am currently using to workout with, and luckily i managed to get it back on the rack before that happened. and when i got up off the bench, i went straight to the ground and couldnt find a way to get up. after about 5 minutes i got up and next thing i knew i was running to the bathroom ready to vomit and crap at the same time. luckily i didnt vomit. and it took a while for me to calm myself down and get back to a normal state.

so yeah, speaking from experience, because i ignored advice, i would definatly say,
REST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
for your own sake and safety.
