I used this style of training for about a year(before I used powerlifting equipment). I did not see much gain in strength with this program. I feel it is more for the equipt lifter(bench shirt, squat suit, deadlift suit). The problem I find with this program is the heavy day for squat and bench. You are using such high intensity every week that mentally, you just can't maintain it. Your CNS gets burned out too easily.

I realize this has worked well for a number of lifters, but keep in mind, all of them are wearing equipment for their lifts and most are cycling drugs. I beleive drugs may help with your mental focus and aggressiveness.

O, because I was thinking of using a similar routine but having no dynamic squat day. I would still be on my 3 day split but I would have dynamic benching on monday 8 sets of 3 reps FAST, and on Friday would be working up to 1-3 rep max. On wednesday I would squat pretty heavy for sets of 4-5 reps. Could this be ok? I'm pretty much willing to try anything for my sorry bench press #s

I just feel this is better suited for someone using powerlifting equipment.
