Maybe some of you can help me with this one. I'm looking at purchasing a weight vest. I saw some at www.weightvest.com but before I decide on one I wanted to get opinions from anyone using them and or having one... Brand/cost and how well it fits and feels..

Thanks!

Cool idea. That would be great for preperation for a hike if you knew the weight of your backpack, you could put this on and get used to it without really packing your pack every day.

Kinda pricey..but it sounds as if they last forever.

Never tried them so it really does not answer your post. Thanks for pointing that out though.

Oh yeah I can think of a lot of things for it. I saw an ad on one web page BB players wear them to help with their jumping. And skydivers use even heavier ones to wieght themselves down during a jump. You are right it is kinda pricey, but from my hunting around so far this place has the market on the vests. Haven't found any better quality and I don't want to make a mistake and by something less than what I need. I wanted it specifically for lunges. You can only hold dumbells for so long, and using a barbell behind your neck while I can go a lot longer also becomes a pain in the neck ;) especially when you really start adding weight to it. They had one that was like $65 and you could put smaller plates on it but I think that only went up to 40 pounds. Since I just started doing a 60 pound barbell I've already outgrown it before I even bought one.
