I am new to these forums but they seem like they can get me some help

Im 16 6'3" and about 240lbs
Ive realized that i really need to lose some weight, and id like to drop to about 190-200
I know this will take time, but what i need is a diet plan, Exercise plan, and possibly some dietary supplements that can help along the way
Im a totally Novice when it comes to weight loss and exercise terms, so anything explained is much appreciated.
Ive cut out all forms of soda, eating 5-6 smaller meals a day, and taking a multi vitamin.
Im not completely out of shape, i have decent stamina and can lift about 60lbs for consistent periods of time.
My Current Workout is this:
Every Other Day-
Pushups 3x10
Calf Ups 2x25
Crunches 2x50
And i run about 1/2 mile each day, trying to build up running stamina.

I started this all about 2 weeks ago, is there anything i need to stop? change? add?
Any help at all would be very grateful.
But im not going for straight weightloss, id like to build some upper body strength, particularly the pecks, as i have nothing but fat there :(, and some arm strength.

Once again i am a Novice and know pretty much nothing about this sort of thing.
