Weight Gainers??? - Sunday, November 25, 2007 6:07 AM
I will soon start training to gain some weight. I'm 130lbs right now. With my job I don't have time to eat 5-6meals per day, but I may have time to drink something. I was thinking about getting a weight gainer like ProLab N-largeII and make a shake out of it. What are the best weight gainer out there?

I like Optimum Nutrition's Serious Mass. They used to sell it in 10lb bags. I think now they only sell it in big tubs. It's pretty cheap if you order it online through massnutrition.com and comes in 3-4 different flavors. It tastes pretty good too but it really is serious mass. I think one "shake" has 1600 calories in it and it's like syrup. I always put in extra milk and just made two 800 calorie shakes that weren't so thick.

There's also one called Weight Gainer 900. I can't remember the maker but I heard from some of my guys that the chocolate flavor tastes like cake batter.

I used MEGA MASS formula gnc when bulking, its great 50 grams of protein a lot of carbs, only thing is that its expensive and one serving is 3 scoops, only 10 servings in whole container.

Just make your own.  It's much cheaper.  I take 1 1/2 cups of milk + 2 scoops of protien powder + 4 tbsp peanut butter.  It's 830 calories.  You can add a tablespoon of olive oil too for an extra 120 calories for a total of 950 calories.
