Weight lifting belt?

Went into the local sports store looking for a weight belt? Saw three different sizes 3,4,5 wide? which should i go with? Plus leather is what i was thinking, but is velcro any good? Thx for the input!

I have a Scheik belt... with the veclro and it's great! http://www.schiek.com/belts2.html The one I have isn't contoured like the one in the link, but thick all the way around, I would probobly prefer the one in the link. I actually cut the loop thingy off in the front with the clip so it's just a regular belt with the velcro. I used to think the velcro was dumb, but I got used to it and I think it's better than a metal buckle sticking in your side during a set of Deadlifts.

i use a regular old leather one. the buckle doesn't really bother me much and i think its fine.
