Didn't know which area was proper to post this. Anyway, everytime I drink my whey protein shake about 5 minutes after my workouts, I always notice I get a rumbly feeling in my stomach followed by watery stool/diahrrea. This has ALWAYS happened in my 9 months of working out. However, I'm beginning to fear this means that the shake which I had just ingested has not been digesting properly and absorbing. I never get sick or anything, but I have to take multiple watery craps for about half the day, and I just wanna make sure its still going through my system. What do you guys think? Should I drink my shake slower and take sips instead of just downing it? Has it been absorbing this whole time? Any response is appreciated, thanks.

I would try to drink it slower, and maybe wait a good 20 minutes after you are done working out and see if that helps. If not, I would quit the shakes and go with whole food.

are you drinking your shakes with milk? I know a few people who cant drink them mixed with milk. If you do, then try it with water. Also if you are doing like 2 scoops in each shake then try reducing the amount and see if that helps. Have you tried different brands of whey protein?

Thats true, you could definitely be allergic to milk or something else in your certain brand of whey protein. Because, I certainly don't feel that way after drinking my protein shakes. That sucks for you buddy, that would definitely piss me off quite a bit.

I have Whey made by a brand called Body Fortress (although I usually use EAS), water, sugar (as a fast acting carb) and creatine. No milk. I think im just gonna wait about half an hour to drink the shake as opposed to IMMEDIATELY drinking it after a workout. I guess my body just aint used to food after goin through a tough workout.

I would def try a different brand without all that extra sh*t in it.

You may be lactose intolerant. Try a brand that has lactase in it. I had a similar response to the first kind of protein I tried, but was fine after I changed brands. I've had good luck with Optimum Nutrition 100% Gold Standard.

Sorry, I misunderstood, did you mean to say that you are adding sugar to the drink yourself? A drink of Brown sugar in water could go straight through you. If the sugar concentration is high in the intestine, it will draw water in to flush it out as diarrhoea. Try without creatine too. If this is not the case then follow the other guy's advices.
