I would say anything with 4-Androstenediol will cause water retention, however this is often stacked with 1-Testosterone or 1-androstene-3beta, 17beta-diol to combat the respectable side effects. The 4-AD also helps in gaining mass on a bulking cycle.

There are some lean mass stacks but many people report mediocre results and the cost is often higher than the more common stacks. Just do some research and you'll see what's best for you. Good luck.
