Wanting to Compete - Tuesday, December 05, 2006 8:43 PM ( #1 )
So, I've recently gotten VERY into lifting and now have an urge to compete.

Stats:
Age: 19
Height: 5'1
Weight: 110 lbs
Hips: 37.5 inches
Waist: 24.5 inches
Bust: 31 inches
Bicep: 10
Upper Thigh: 21
Mid Thigh: 17.5

I know I have a lot more work to do. I'm thinking of competting in a figure contest. I'm not strong enough to compete in an actual lifting contest.

Any input in how I could go about competeting, what judges look for, etc would be VERY helpful.

Have started training to compete in Ms. Fitness in April. Still have no clue what I'm getting myself into. . .

April is not a very long time for you to prep.  I saw your pics and physique wise you will not be able to bulk or sculpt a ton, will have to concentrate on leaning and routine!  That is usually done by 6 mths out with major practice going on now so i would say Fitness should have more prep time.  Now you can crunch it and do it but it will be tight.
Really look at my fitnessteambc.com page, the Fitness section......that will tell you more about what you are getting into, then look at the tips page, more info to let you know what you are getting into!!
Also see site.fitnessteambc.com and register, its free, then look at the FAQS section for more info and tips.
I am here for any questions and to help!

I really like your page, the link you have in your sig here~  I love the pics of you working out and think its awesome because others can try it out and see how you do it so they do it right, then also its useful when you are asking questions and seeking advice, it really helped me in my response.
