At walmart thhey have some supps with bottles of 50 costing $20 and it has the same active ingredent as Nitrix (L-Argenine ALpha-Keto Gluterate)

IS Nitrix really worth coughing up 3x more?

I think you're referring to NOS by Body Fortress.  You're right, same active ingredient, same result.  I had noticeably better pumps.  The only problem I had was that I couldn't swallow the pills, and they taste absolutely horrible.  I had to get a pill crusher, crush em, then put the powder in empty capsules so I could swallow em.

Yeah, AAKG pills are usually pretty gross and huge. Sucks swallowing them, all companies are the same pill wise.

I didnt think so, I think im going to pick up a jar and try it out. I can justify paying a high price for complex supp like protein shakes but for things like this I'll go cheap

protein shakes aren't really all that complex or expensive depending on what you get

I got the pills they are called Body Fortress NOS pump. I took three before working out and will see what happens in the coming weeks. They were $10 for a bottle of 90. It says take 3 before working out and after but I thought 3 prior to workout is enough..what do you guys think?

Considering the price, I would take em both before and after, so you have increased blood flow constantly.  Did you have trouble swallowin em?

No, they are actually easier to swallow then the 1000mg L-Argenine pills from Vitamin World. Im going to take them everyday, but the bottle says before and after workouts..I figure it can't hurt to use it on off days. Waste of pills though?

$36 for 180 Nitrix is a little more reasonable, but these are $20 for 180 so 1/2 is good enough of a bargin for me. Nitrix in GNC and Vitamin World is $60 for the small bottle and $100 for the big one

Bodyfortress NOS is good stuff. You don't need to take them post workout or on off days.  I use to take 4 pills pre workout then went up to 5 pills. I don't recommend this, but I'm 241lbs also.  I didn't take them on off days either.

I also pick up some supps @ wally world....one question though...What is the difference in the nos ur talking bout( that has l-arg akg) and just plain ol' L-arg?

I buy the l-arg pills 500mg. at wally for $3.99 and take 3g pre and post workout.  Guess i'm super cheap.

so the bodyfortress NOS pills are good stuff??? and can you take it with a preworkout NO drink such as Xceed or NO-Xplode? the NOS pills would be the equivilent of nitrix, so i assume taking a preworkout drink would be fine.

aolson, the Body Fortress NOS pills are nitric oxide pills...  I'd pick one or the other...the NOS or a pre workout drink, unless the pre workout drink is not a nitric oxide product

wouldn't the NOS pills be exactly like the BSN nitrix pills? cuz if so, you can add a NO drink just like the BSN Mass stack, with the NO-Xplode, Cellmass, and Nitrix. those three products seem to work synergistically and seems okay to take. just curious

I just picked it up the NOS pump at Wal Mart this weekend thanks to this post.  Today is my first day on it.  I had great pumps with Nitrix, so I will let you know how these go.

This will be great for comparison purposes. Im on the 3rd day of it, took it in the morning today and worked out at noon on my legs. I usually don't experience any big pumps when doing my legs, but I believe there was a bit more tightness in my legs after doing sqats, nothing major though. It will be interesting to see how I feel on chest day, which always gets pumped pretty good..Ill report back on that tommarow.

I also had pretty good soreness on my tris for 2 days after the workout...which I usually don't experience. Just an observation, probably unrealated.Smile

I agree.  I've been an advocate for Nitrix on this forum before.  I've taken it twice and both times I got ridiculous and almost painful pumps.  I think I had results during the first week, so I respond quickly to the AAKG.

I don't see any reason why this stuff from Wal Mart wouldn't work the same.  If it does then the Nitrix is just overpriced due to marketing hype.

Yes you can add NOS pills Nitrix, or Bodyfortress NOS pump to any pre workout drink that contains NOS also. That would be fine in most cases.
