aolson, the Body Fortress NOS pills are nitric oxide pills... I'd pick one or the other...the NOS or a pre workout drink, unless the pre workout drink is not a nitric oxide product wouldn't the NOS pills be exactly like the BSN nitrix pills? cuz if so, you can add a NO drink just like the BSN Mass stack, with the NO-Xplode, Cellmass, and Nitrix. those three products seem to work synergistically and seems okay to take. just curious

I just picked it up the NOS pump at Wal Mart this weekend thanks to this post. Today is my first day on it. I had great pumps with Nitrix, so I will let you know how these go.

This will be great for comparison purposes. Im on the 3rd day of it, took it in the morning today and worked out at noon on my legs. I usually don't experience any big pumps when doing my legs, but I believe there was a bit more tightness in my legs after doing sqats, nothing major though. It will be interesting to see how I feel on chest day, which always gets pumped pretty good..Ill report back on that tommarow. I also had pretty good soreness on my tris for 2 days after the workout...which I usually don't experience. Just an observation, probably unrealated.

I've taken it twice and both times I got ridiculous and almost painful pumps. I think I had results during the first week, so I respond quickly to the AAKG. I don't see any reason why this stuff from Wal Mart wouldn't work the same. If it does then the Nitrix is just overpriced due to marketing hype.

Yes you can add NOS pills Nitrix, or Bodyfortress NOS pump to any pre workout drink that contains NOS also. That would be fine in most cases.

You can, but the real question is why? NO Xplode and Nitrix contain the same stuff as the NOS... taking that much may result in diarhhea or something else.

I've been taking 6 Star Body Fuel, it's sold in Wal-Mart. I like it, tastes good, cheap, basic requirements for a good protein shake are met, plus it has flax seed oil and a little bit of creatine mono,

ORIGINAL: Jayman666 The results are going to be bigger better pumps using both. Never had the shyts on it. I personally would pick one or the other, but if you have no bad sides and really need that extra pump, go for it. *edit Ran a few searches on it, and I found this... 4. How much should be taken? Are there any side effects? With any amino acid containing product, overdose is a possibility. Dosing with too much arginine can lead to diarrhea, weakness and nausea. Clear dosing guidelines have not been established, so it is best to do what is known as "tolerance mapping". Take a small dosage for one week, note the benefits and the side effects, and increase the dosage until the benefits are maximized and the side effects minimized. Over time the two will converge and you will hit the optimal dose. This process is similar to "receptor mapping" for bodybuilders who use insulin. Here's the link incase you want to read more about NO products:

I been using the NOS on workout days and the regular L-Argenine on non workout days (just to use it up bc now I have a whole bottle left) The jury is still out on if NOS is working for me, I just took 3 more and going to work out now.

On Tuesday, only my second day on NOS from Wal Mart, I definately started to feel the effects. I didn't take it yesterday on the 4th because I was drinking, but I will resume today and my guess is that by next week the results will be in full effect. Also, for some reason the AAKG pills work much better for me with a rep range of 8-12.

Did legs today after popping 3 30 mins before dong squats and leg extentions and curls. I felt a great pump in my legs...its tough to think back and compare it to the pumps I had before, because I did have pumps before too. But I believe its having an effect so I will stay using them. Felt some lightheadedness the other day doing arms...which had a pretty good pump going, must be getting more blood to the muscles (and less to te head that day)

ORIGINAL: Silence Also, for some reason the AAKG pills work much better for me with a rep range of 8-12. Better than with what rep range? I'm guessing lower reps...? I agree, when I was taking the NOS pills, I definitely got more of a pump with higher reps, like you said, 8-12, than with powerlifting reps. The muscle gets contracted more and more blood rushes to the scene. I rarely use N.O. products though, only when I need to be motivated, lol.
