Veg,
I hate to break it to you, but no one's looking at your body:  They're looking at that beautiful dog.  I'm dying right now.  :(

Does she like the jeep?  Going for a swim?

Okay, as the OP, I'll try to get the thread back on topic.  Errr, let's see:
Don't you hate it when you're in the middle of a set and someone interrrupts you with a comment or question?  Like "Do you know if anyone's using the preacher?"  Couldn't that question have waited 30 seconds until I'm done with my skullcrushers?!  Or how about "You know you could move that bench back so people could get to the dumbbells."  Listen, dumbell dumba$$, sorry I didn't notice I was in the way.  Can I move AFTER I finish my 15 seated presses?  The nerve!  Like I tell my boys:  Two P words:  Please and Patience.

Hey, at least you don't have people comparing you to Richard Belzer -and let's face it, even I have to concede that one!

Okay, okay, I think I've got it nailed!

Today, a guy carried on a five minute convo with me about my future marriage while I was trying to set up for cleans.

Thought I would contribute seeing as this amazing thread is starting to die.

P,
Thanks for keepin' the thread alive!  I was thinking the same thing!  I keep hoping something exciting happens when I work out but it's been desolate lately.  Practically have the place to myself.  Maybe Monday something ridiculous will go down.  Problem is I've been working out at 5 in the morning.  Most of the people then do laps in the pool, hop on a treadmill, or do machines.  Not much free weight action.  Maybe I'll do a middle of the day w/o next week for thread material.

I think having white splotches of chalk all over your hands and body with sweat on your pumped arms is possibly the sexiest thing ever, in general.

Nobody uses chalk at the Y.  I don't think it's allowed.

I would find another gym for sure.

I'm pretty sure it isn't allowed where I go, but I use it anyway. No one has said anything yet cause I clean up.

Okay this one's about me and should probably be in a new thread called "Embarrassing gym moments":  I'm working out this morning, at 5:00 mind you, so I'm not totally awake yet.  I was doing standing OH presses and was unloading the bar like a good citizen.  I removed what I thought was the final plate, a 25, when all of a sudden a 2-1/2 plate (that I forgot about) bounces to the floor and starts rolling all the way across the free weight room.  So I'm there chasing after it.  It starts heading for a guy near the dumbbell rack and I have to yell, "Look out, man!"  So embarrassing!  :(
