I know that everyone prefers and likes ON 100% whey gold standard but I'm wondering people's second choice for whey protein other than ON's whey. Any recommendations?

I will prob get flammed for this but if you can get gnc 100% whey for a good deal like less than 35-40 for 5 lbs, I think it tastes great and mixes really well. There are a ton of options, tons of flavors, some that mix better, some that taste better, some with better profiles...just try some and see what ones you like

Body Fortress, at walmart is hard to beat.. they changed the formula, and added small amounts of creatine and Taurine, and I'm thinking it has around 56G of BCAA's.. 2lbs only $12.99 and the vanilla is probably the best tasting I've ever had.. other than ON Cookies and Cream..

ON all the way, but I do second the Body Fortress stuff from WalMart. Sounds crazy saying that.... but it really is pretty decent stuff.

Amen to that... I can't believe people would be willing to spend $60 on "high quality" protein when they can get protein just as good for a third of the price. For people who don't like the taste of most protein powders I would recommend buying the chocolate flavor and mixing it with milk it'll taste like regular chocolate milk.

For all of us ON fans check out Vitamin Shoppe brand pro 24 whey. It is the exact same profile and product, but much cheaper. This is the only protein I use now and I had been using ON for about 10 years. 5 pounds for 35 and most of the time you can get a buy one get one half off. 50 bucks for ten pounds, cant beat it.
