Hey whats happening everyone. Im really new to all this as the title states and I'd seriously like to start actually getting serious about getting in shape and stuff. Im 14 right now, about 5'7-5'8, 135-140lbs and Ive never really worked out before, at all. So basically it would be super cool if someone could point me in the right direction of workout plans, supplements, and all that other stuff. My goal as of now is to get nice abs, nice arms, and just an overall good looking body. As I progress I will definately kepp you posted, any help?

this is just my recommendation: if i were you i would workout in the gym or with a simple pair of dumbells probably 3-4 times a week with a simple split. for example: monday - chest/tris tuesday - off/abs/cardio wednesday - back/bis thursday - shoulders friday - off/abs/cardio saturday - legs sunday - off that might be a little serious i have no idea - or just do full body work outs or upper body one day lower body the other day. you can mix it up as you like. as for diet at your age you need to know if your metabolism is fast just like every other 14 year old kid i know. if thats the case. EAT EAT EAT EAT EAT. youre still really really young so dont weight train too heavy. as for supplements. i wouldnt recommend anything more than a multivitamin and maybe a protein shake or two a day. hope this helps

Ok man here you shouldn't even be thinking about any supplements maybe a multi all you need to do is get your diet ok stay away from soda, and fast food eat all the steak or lean meat possible eat eat eat and eat start off for the first month or 2 just doing basic bodyweight exercises do you play any sports? stick with push up's crunches jogging and mainly just having fun you don't want to lift heavy yet until your 16 or so just to prevent injury maybe in a couple months get some weight and concentrate on good form first not the weight liftedquote:

I drink full fat milk and prefer it anything wrong with that? I thought full fat milk is better for people looking to gain mass as they need as many calories as they can get.

yes you do want calories but you want clean calories whole milk is ok just fatty but at your age and with your high metabolism it's probably not that bad your shakes are goin to be thicker and harder to drink though i would go with 2% personally but i'm sure it's not that horrible for you to go with whole milk

That shouldnt be a problem eh? Oh and milk, I just cant drink it straight for some reason, I hate the way it tastes haha. And the whey your talking about is ON 100% the brand name??So if I buy this whey, which I most likely will, can I just mix it in the protien shake? But besides the food and stuff, I should just do simple things like pull ups, push ups, crunches, etc...??

the ON 100% whey is the protein shake. you just mix the powder in milk or water. whichever you prefer

what would be best?? I could easily do like 4-5 days a week. And basically I want to really focus on my abs and chest. I guess my arms could also use some work. My goal so far, is to alteast get a 6 pack before summer ends but I'd definately prefer an 8, I'd also like to get my arms a decent size. But thanks for doing this man. If you need more info about me just ask lol.

Well, I'm not as experienced as these couple of guys who've been talking with you, but I do train 4 times a week in the weight room.. And.. Your main focus seems like your arms, chest, abs. The three biggies that everyone wants. Big ol pecks, 8 pack, and a good set of guns. Yeah, well, your legs, your back, your shoulders, everything is going to have to grow along with it or you're going to look like a science experiment gone wrong. So, seeing how everyone is suggesting you go for core strength, and the basics, I'd suggest probably using the above split.. And exercises like ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Chest/Tris Push Ups Dips Chest dips Light Dumbell Fly Just use that as an example.. Back exercises like pull ups are good.. Deadlift, but you shouldn't lift heavy.. Leg's are very important because of testosterone. Just get out there and enjoy core exercises and light dumbell lifting

im 15 i started last year when i was 14 i did the basics bench incline squats cleans curls and i diddnt do alot of other stuff until i was 15 do not lift too heavy weights i have heard lots of bad things coming from younger people lifting tooooooo heavy try eat a ton of food like meats poultry and no junk foods. starting out i would do upper body on monday lower on wedsday and upper again on friday to get started. then as u get into it more workout 5 days a week and do different muscle groups mixing it up i hope all that helps u!
